We are a privately owned company with the principal owners and operators being enrolled members of North Dakota Indian Tribes. Chiptronics, Inc. is located in Dunseith, ND adjacent to the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation, home of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.

Chiptronics, Inc. has been in business since 1977 and has long term business relationships with such companies as IBM, General Electric, 3M, Honeywell, Tennant, Flight Safety International, Alliantech Systems, and Lockheed Martin among others.

In 2016, Chiptronics transitioned into manufacturing after our manufacturing partner (Benchmark Electronics) moved its operations to another location outside of North Dakota. Over 115 highly trained and experienced people lost their jobs. The average tenure of the workforce was nearly 20 years. Chiptronics current manufacturing group has an average of over 25 years.
